Who should attend

The CICT workshops have been designed to meet the educational needs of interventional cardiologists, non-invasive cardiologists and cardiology fellows along with cath lab nurses, technicians and other medical professionals who care for patients undergoing catheter-based cardiovascular interventions.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to:

  • Demonstrate patient-centered, evidence-based decision-making at the individual patient level.
  • Explain the skill set necessary to triage patients with complex coronary and structural heart diseases to surgical vs. endovascular interventions.
  • Discuss cognitive and technical skills to maximize success and reduce complications in complex cardiovascular interventions.
  • Identify best practices to prevent and manage complications in coronary and structural heart disease interventions.
  • Exercise hands-on technical training for percutaneous cardiac structural procedures.

Accreditation 2025

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of CMEsolutions and cme4u GmbH. The CMEsolutions is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The CMEsolutions designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 18 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.™  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is the busiest and largest airport on the US west coast. Located 33 kilometres from the city centre of LA and 40 miles to the Renaissance Hotel.

Visa

If you require a visa to enter the United States, please check with your local US embassy or consulate to obtain the necessary documents. Kindly allow enough time to process your visa. Please visit your local US embassy or consulate’s website for information on the visa application process.

Letter of Invitation

On request, we are pleased to send an invitation for participation in CICT2023. This invitation is not a commitment on the part of CICT to provide any financial support, a guarantee of the acceptance of any submissions by the attendee, nor a guarantee that the consulate will issue the visa. Letters of invitation are sent only to those individuals who have registered and whose payments have been verified.

If your passport is expired or due to expire in the near future, please renew it promptly. You must have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after your planned departure from the US (unless exempted by country-specific agreements).

CICT welcomes physicians and healthcare providers from around the globe. However, please note: Under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015, travelers in the following categories are no longer eligible to travel or be admitted to the U.S. under the VWP:
• Nationals of VWP countries who have traveled to or been present in Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, or Yemen, on or after March 1, 2011 (with limited exceptions for travel for diplomatic or military purposes in the service of a VWP country).
• Nationals of VWP countries who are also nationals of Iran, Iraq, Sudan, or Syria.
These individuals will still be able to apply for a visa using the regular appointment process at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate. For those who require a U.S. visa for urgent business, medical, or humanitarian travel to the U.S., U.S. Embassies and Consulates stand ready to handle applications on an expedited basis.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection strongly recommends that any traveler to the United States check his or her ESTA status prior to making any travel reservations or travelling to the United States. More information is available on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) website.
