About the course
The 2nd Annual CICT Fellows Workshop will be held on July 17, 2025 (1day prior to CICT). This workshop is tailored for 3rd-year cardiology fellows with interest in interventional cardiology, and interventional and structural cardiology fellows. This program offers a unique opportunity to enrich your expertise, advance your career through specialized education, and connect with peers who share your passion. In addition to high-level learning, you’ll find plenty of chances to build lasting relationships and broaden your professional network on a global scale.
Course description
This workshop will feature hands-on case-based, clinical, technical and conceptual learning of contemporary basic and advanced interventional cardiology practice. The novel course structure is designed to foster intimate interactions between small group of fellows (7-8), and expert faculty. Also, there will be dedicated time for interactions with industry representatives and hands-on training covering around cardiac devices functionality and simulation. Ample networking opportunities with faculty are provided.
Course structure
70-80* fellows will be divided into small groups which will rotate among different topic-specific “Stations“ for 45 minutes and engage in the structured “WHW“ discussion format:

3. Why not a different device / technique?
2. Hands-on product education – simulation – industry interaction
After completing the course, fellows should be able to:
• Demonstrate advanced understanding of key concepts in interventional cardiology, particularly in coronary and structural heart interventions.
• Apply evidence-based practices in diagnosing and treating complex cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform essential interventional techniques with greater precision and confidence, reinforced through hands-on simulations.
• Analyze and interpret the latest clinical trial data to inform clinical decision-making.
• Engage in multidisciplinary discussions, enhancing collaborative skills with peers and mentors in the field.
• Expand their professional network, fostering connections that support career growth and ongoing learning.
Full scholarship details
All accepted participants will receive:
- Complimentary registration for the CICT fellows workshop
- Complimentary Registration for the CICT 2025 (*Attendance at CICT general sessions is required)
- Reimbursed hotel accommodations at the Renaissance Hotel for four nights (July 16–20)
- Meals provided at the conference
- Reimbursed ground transportation up to $650 (home to airport, airport to hotel, coach airfare to and from LA) for attendees coming from the US or Canada.

Full participation is required for 100 percent reimbursement. All attendees must:
- Arrive at the hotel before the first session begins
- Make flight arrangements that depart after the final session ends on Saturday, July 19
- Participate in all sessions, including the exhibit hall tour and satellite meal functions
Required Documentation
- A signed letter from your program director stating the dates of your fellowship
- A copy of your curriculum vitae (CV)
Your application will be reviewed, and you will be notified within two weeks of the status of your application.
International Attendees
